Ministry of environmental protection set up special funds to support air pollution control plan

Recently, in order to implement the action plan for the prevention and control of air pollution, the Ministry of environmental protection is brewing its supporting technology action plan for the prevention and control of air pollution, which will support scientific and technological projects related to the prevention and control of air pollution through special funds.

Related technologies related to the prevention and control of air pollution, such as desulfurization and denitrification technology, motor vehicle exhaust, fine particulate matter treatment, pollution source analysis and air pollution forecasting and warning, are all supported by the technology action plan. Among them, the technologies related to the prevention and control of air pollution related to VOC and the technology for the treatment of fine particles will be one of the key points of support of the action plan. At present, the Ministry of environmental protection has set up an expert group involving many departments and units. In the future, enterprises, scientific research institutes and colleges and universities can apply for the specific funds of the action plan.

People in the industry believe that the plan of action will be followed by a special plan to support the prevention and control of air pollution following the special plan for the "blue sky technology project" in 12th Five-Year. In October 2012, the Ministry of science and technology and the Ministry of environmental protection jointly published the special plan for "blue sky science and Technology Engineering" in 12th Five-Year, which proposed to raise social funds from various channels and levels, increase investment in the implementation of key projects in blue sky technology and engineering, actively use the financial and capital markets, and introduce scientific and technological venture investment into the energy conservation and environmental protection leader. In the field, we should carry out pilot projects such as risk compensation for specialized enterprise loans, subsidies for research and development, and equity pledge loans for hi-tech enterprises. It also provides technical proposal and demonstration practice for the prevention and control of air pollution in 10 key regions and large and medium-sized cities.
